Chicago Cubs RandR looking for a Host.

Cubs Rants and Raves

Due to a new job and other commitments, Ryan needed to stop working on the new Chicago Cubs Rants and Raves show. I have talked to Ryan about this, and we are going to leave the show up on the site as we have done with AFL Rants and Raves and we are going to look for another host for the show.

If you are a die hard Chicago Cubs fan and want to step up and talk about your team to the rest of the Rants and Raves community, please send us an email to help keep the show on the air. Send us an email at admin@rarn.net

Thanks!

AFL Rants and Raves Needs New Host

Meeting with the NFL in New York!

Steven Miranda and Jeff Ellis of NFL Rants and Raves spend 3 days in New York meeting with folks from the NFL Network. The guys were pitching their podcast and another show concept for NFL Network. The two gents spent some time exploring Manhattan and experience a Naked Cowgirl singing in the street (www.nakedcowgirlnyc.com), the Empire State Building and a ride in a petty cab.

No news yet coming from the NFL Network, but we hope to be hearing something soon.

We’ll keep you posted.

NFL Still Uncertain

The NFL is still uncertain as to what to do with us. They like us yet they don’t know about becoming involved with such a small independent network. RARN continues to talk with folks from the NFL as well as starting to make contact with folks from the NFL Network plus we have now started to talk to folks at NBC and hope to make contact with Fox Sports, ESPN, CBS and some folks from HBO.

We will keep you posted as things continue to develop, but for now take a listen to NFL Rants and Raves - Episode 52, as NFL Director of Broadcast Planning and Scheduling, Mike North, comes on the show to talk more about the cool Flex Scheduling for next year.

NFL show posts 50th episode.

NFL Rants and Raves posted its golden show, reaching its 50th episode. The show continues to get great reviews and we are in the process of getting an NFL director to come on the show and allow us to interview him. Mike North of the NFL will come on the show to discuss the NFL’s new flex schedule for the upcoming 2006 season.

We are very excited about the opportunity to get Mike to come on and talk to us about the NFL’s schedule.

Look for the interview on Episode 52: AFC North and South Review

AFL Rants and Raves Goes Up!

AFL Rants and RavesRARN welcomes our man from down under, Max Laughton, bringing us that rough and tough Australian Football League. In the first episode, Max breaks down all the teams in the AFL along with their goofy fight songs! Listen in and ask yourself this question, “Is the band singing the fights songs the same band?”

Welcome AFL Rants and Raves as Max covers the “football” game where they actually use their foot!

We’re Baaaack!

We got knocked off the air there for a moment! Our shows success meant RARN needed bigger bandwidth and a host that could support those needs. We are with a fantastic web host now right in our own back yard of So Cal.

We are trying to pull all the old data back to our blogs, but in the mean time, RARN gets a fresh start!

Thank you all for being patient and welcome back!
